Our team specializes in all types of difficult to place Primary Casualty accounts and we can compete in the marketplace on all types of Excess risk.

Our extensive market expertise and access allow us to draw on a wide range of resources from across the country. Organizational structure is “flat” which enables us to create better, smarter, and faster insurance solutions that our competition for essentially any risk imaginable.

About Beth

Beth joined CRC Swett 18 years ago as a Casualty Broker. Prior to joining CRC Swett, Beth worked as a retail broker and in the Casualty Marketing Dept. for Sedgwick, now a part of Marsh & McLennan Cos.


Specialties

  • Primary: Beth negotiates and brokers risk placement for Construction, Environmental, Product Liability and Product Recall business.
  • Excess: In addition to additional limits for Primary, Beth places Truck Excess and Fleet Excess.
  • Approximately 60% of placements are construction related: practice policies, project policies and Wraps, including Crane risks and Insureds supporting crane operations - rental, erection/dismantle/union operators, Mobile and Tower Crane.
  • Unique Environmental Risk Management experience includes authoring contractual environmental Indemnity and Insurance provisions for the first fixed price bids for base closure clean ups. Beth successfully worked as a consultant and with the US Navy team to award the contract for the Charleston, SC USN base closure.
  • Additional Environmental Consulting resulted for the US Army Corp of Engineers relating to environmental indemnity and insurance contractual requirements for fixed price bids involving base closures.
  • Beth places Product Recall/Contamination insurance relative to over 3 billion in agricultural products sold as well as Non-Food Recall insurance.
