About Farrah Schubmehl

Farrah Double majored in Economics/International Studies with a Minor in French and graduated from Allegheny College in Meadville, PA. She entered the insurance industry in 1999 right out of college as a Property and Marine Underwriter with Chubb Group of Insurance in Charlotte, NC. In 2000, she relocated with Chubb to Nashville, TN. There, she quickly grew the book of business from $485,000 to $13.5M and in turn became the Property, Machinery & Marine Manager overseeing a book of Property and Marine business in the Southeast Region. After Chubb, Farrah was given the opportunity to learn the Casualty Side of the insurance industry for several years focusing specifically on the Transportation and Construction insurance Segments. From 2009 - 2012, she worked as an insurance agent with Willis Corporation focusing on large manufacturing risks particularly specializing in the automotive, garment and consumer products industries. Some of these clients are still working with Farrah in her current role. In 2012, she joined Swett & Crawford on one of Swett's largest Casualty Teams to help grow their Property book of business.

We promote the Team / Partnership approach in all we do throughout the course of the year. If we need to get on a plane and meet an insured, get involved with an inspection or connect with an underwriter in London, we do just that."
